The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital is now Bethany Children’s Health Center.
The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital is proud to announce that it has received accreditation from Accreditation Commission for Healthcare (ACHC), under the nation’s original independent healthcare accreditation program and recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
The hospital earned the prestigious designation after a comprehensive, objective review of the quality and safety standards of the facility during a recent visit from ACHC surveyors. This distinction confirms that The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital is providing high quality patient care as determined by an external process of evaluation.
“As the only inpatient pediatric rehabilitation hospital in its state and now one of the first new hospital accreditations following the merger of ACHC and Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP), The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital has shown its ability to step forward as a leader,” said José Domingos, CEO, Accreditation Commission for Health Care. “Just as ACHC accreditation is a milestone for this important pediatric care facility, it is also a milestone for our newly merged organizations. ACHC is proud to be a partner in continuing excellence and looks forward to a long relationship with The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital.”
“The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital clearly demonstrates a commitment to quality and patient safety,” said Deanna Scatena, Associate Director for Acute Care and Critical Access Hospital Accreditation. “We base accreditation decisions on the findings of an extensive and thorough onsite review against recognized national standards for patient safety, quality improvement, and environmental safety. The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital has earned the distinction of ACHC accreditation through its performance in successfully meeting those standards.”
“We’re proud to be recognized for our commitment to providing outstanding care to our patients and our community,” says Nico Gomez, CEO, The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital. “Not only does this accreditation acknowledge our level of care today, but the detailed ACHC survey serves as a valuable tool for continued evaluation, quality improvement and patient-centered planning for the hospital’s continued growth.”
