Richard Mills-Tetteh joined the staff at Bethany Children’s Health Center in 2015 as the Digital Media Specialist. In 2019, he joined Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores as their Senior Internal Communications Specialist, before returning to the hospital in 2021 as Director of Corporate Communications. In his current role as Chief of Marketing and Engagement, Richard provides leadership and direction for both internal and external communications, community development, and the Bethany Children’s Foundation. Under his leadership, the hospital has been recognized nationally for having the best intranet for staff, and has won multiple awards, including “Best Inspirational Video” and “Best Crisis Communication” by Ragan Communications. Prior to joining the hospital, Richard served in a multitude of roles with Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, The Oklahoma City Thunder and Devon Energy. He is a member of Leadership Oklahoma’s LOYAL Class XIV and holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from The University of Oklahoma. He lives in Edmond, Okla., with his wife Kristina and their two children, Kodi and Jackson.
