Community Health

Bethany Children’s Health Center is dedicated to improving health and preventing injuries of Oklahoma children. The Community Health programs we sustain and develop do just that by providing education and community resources. Healthy Schools OK – Safe Kids Oklahoma – ATV Ride Safe Oklahoma are working to create a healthier and safer community for every Oklahoman. Our goal is to reach as many kids and parents as possible.

Safe Kids Program

At Bethany Children’s Health Center we see the survivors of childhood tragedies. As we lead Safe Kids Oklahoma, it is our mission to see that more children grow up to reach their full potential and to avoid tragedies when possible. We provide dedicated and caring staff, operation support and other resources to assist in achieving our common goal: keeping your kids safe.

Healthy Schools Oklahoma

Healthy Schools Oklahoma (HSOK) brings over 24 years of school health experience and knowledge to the hospital, reinforcing the importance of keeping Oklahoma’s children healthy and safe.

HSOK provides funding, curricula, training, evaluation tools and support to participating elementary schools focusing on physical activity, nutrition, injury prevention, tobacco use prevention and oral health education.
